LIFETIME GATE WARRANTY OVERVIEW
If a gate is ever damaged so that it cannot be used for its intended purpose, we will repair or replace it at no charge to you, our customer. If a gate is hit by a loader or backed into by a truck/tractor, the gate has to be damaged to the point that it cannot be used as a gate to hold cattle, sheep, hogs or any other livestock. This is not a scratch or dent cosmetic warranty. It’s a pass or fail warranty as to the functionality of the gate.
Sioux Steel Company (the "Company”) warrants to the original purchaser that the livestock gates labelled through the Company’s "Lifetime Guarantee Gate Program” (the "Gates”) are free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. The "Sioux Steel Guaranteed Gate” sticker must be present on the gate to qualify for the lifetime warranty. No individual or entity, including the selling dealer, is authorized to make any statements or assume for the Company any liability relating to or arising from the product or its use that varies from the express terms of the Limited Lifetime Warranty.
EXCLUSIONS: The Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover and the Company is not responsible for: (i) modification or alteration of the Gates; (ii) cosmetic damage, normal wear and tear or damage that does not hinder the functionality of the Gates, including fading of the colour; (iii) damage caused by use for purposes inconsistent with its intended purpose or design; (iv) damage due to use of any parts or components not supplied by the Company.
The obligation of the Company is limited to repairing or replacing at its factory any part or component determined to its satisfaction to be defective, and all costs, expenses, including transportation, and any fees are the responsibility of the customer. The customer must notify the Company of a claim by registered or certified mail within (30) days after discovery, or the claim shall be deemed waived at Sioux Steel Company, 196 ½ E. 6th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57104.
