Extra strong and easy to use. This Hi-tensile wire provides added strength and durability, with the 2"x 4" non-climbing wire pattern prevents horses' hooves from stepping through the fence. The square knots that hold the wires together are smooth and will not cut the animals if they rub the fence.

The 12.5 gauge high tensile wire stretches 1.5-2%, but breaks at 1500-1600 lbs. Making it 3x stronger than the 12.5 gauge low carbon wire. The 12.5 gauge high tensile and low carbon wires are the same, with the same weight. The only difference is the carbon content, which causes them to break at different weights and stretch at different percentages.

This square knot provides extra vertical strength to withstand impact from large animals. It also allows flexibility for installation on hilly terrain. A unique feature of this Horse Fence is the "Versi-Tail.” This allows for easier splicing of rolls and anchoring to corners by adding a 12” tail at the beginning of each roll and a 6” tail at the end. Versi-Tail allows for faster installation by eliminating the need to remove cross-wire staples to allow enough tail for tying to corners or splicing rolls.
