Shipping, Returns & Warranty Policy

In-Stock Products

    Orders for in-stock products received before noon typically ship by courier or are ready for pickup the next business day. Larger items that are shipped by freight can take up to 2 weeks to process, schedule and ship, ALL freight orders will receive a phone call to schedule prior to the item being shipped.

Out-of-Stock Products (On Backorder)

    Orders containing out-of-stock products ship/are ready for pick up in 2-8 weeks, and can sometimes take up to 10 weeks depending on the manufacturer’s production rates and order backlog. With COVID lockdowns etc. times may even be longer on a case-by-case basis. No matter what the wait time is, we will keep you in the loop of what is happening so you are not left wondering about your order.

Custom/Built-to-Order Products

    These projects are specific and require personal handling. Each project is unique and will have its own time requirements and schedule that will be evaluated on an individual basis.


    Livestock Equipment Canada ships throughout Canada and shipping charges will vary based on package weight and location of the destination. Orders for small in-stock merchandise placed before noon Eastern Standard Time Monday through Friday usually ship by courier the next day. Orders placed after noon Eastern Standard Time or on weekends may not ship via courier for two or more business days. Please note that this applies to expedited shipping as well as standard ground shipments. Orders for products that ship directly from the manufacturer are subject to the policies of that manufacturer and may be subject to delays.


    Orders can be picked up at one of our stores. Simply select "In-Store Pickup” as the shipping method for this option and we will let you know via email and/or phone call when your order is ready for pickup. Please note this is not a free shipping option – if you select pick up as the shipping option you are expected to pick up your order at the location selected.

Free Shipping

    If free shipping is available as a shipping option, orders will ship via CANADA POST, FEDEX, PUROLATOR, or UPS at our discretion. Orders shipping outside of Canada will not be eligible for free shipping. Orders which must ship via Freight Carriers will also be exempt from any Free Shipping promotion.

All orders ship complete.

    We will let you know via email and/or phone call when your order is ready to ship.


    Deliveries to P.O. Boxes will be shipped through Canada Post by your local post office. Tracking information will be available through Canada Post.


    Most parts and accessories can ship via courier. However, many other products are too large/heavy to ship via courier and must be sent via freight. If your order contains an oversize/overweight product that cannot be shipped via courier, this option will not be available.


    Freight shipping options are available for orders containing oversized/overweight products. Items that are shipped via freight usually are delivered within 2 weeks as it takes time to process and schedule. A phone call is always made just before delivery is made to allow the customer time to prepare. Please note that it is the customers responsibility to have the proper equipment or manpower to put the items where they want them to go, the driver can only help with removing the items off the truck or trailer and placing them on the ground near the truck or trailer.


    All shipments should be inspected at the time of delivery. Damaged packages should be refused. Please contact the courier/freight carrier to report any damage then call us at 1.800.962.1606 for further assistance with the damaged shipment.


    Products may be returned if you are unsatisfied with your order at any time within 30 days of the date of sale. We will refund the amount paid for the product minus the cancellation fee. Products must not be used, damaged, missing components or manufacturer’s paperwork. Returns must be in original packaging. Our refunds do not include shipping charges. For proper processing of returns, please email us to request a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA). Please be sure to include your order number in the email. Some returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Please write your name, order number, and RGA on the package for efficient identification and processing of your return. Please note that we do not pay the shipping charges involved in returning goods, except on the exchange of defective or damaged products.


    Many of our products once ordered can not be cancelled as they are being manufactured specifically for your order. If you have ordered something that is allowed to be cancelled and you choose to cancel it we will refund the shipping as well, however, there will be a 5% cancellation fee charged to offset the bank and credit card charges that we incur for the transactions.


    All products are covered by manufacturer warranties and/or guarantees. Call us at 1.800.962.1606 for further assistance with warranty claims. Livestock Equipment Canada can assume no responsibility for the misuse of applications by the consumer. Livestock Equipment Canada is not liable for any labour, incidental, or any other associated costs related to installation or use of products.

Customs and Duties

    Products that are imported from other countries into Canada have had all applicable customs fees, taxes and duties paid for already. Those costs and the exchange rates are included in our retail pricing. Please note that on rare occasions, customs agents may delay the delivery of some packages at their discretion which can cause delays in receiving your product in a timely fashion.

Customs fees and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer if we are exporting a product.

Shipping Restrictions

    It is your responsibility to be aware of the specific import restrictions for your country. Please make sure that you are in an approved jurisdiction as we cannot reship or refund orders that are confiscated by customs.

Shipments to Brazil require a Tax ID number for private individuals and businesses. In Brazil, this is called the CPF – Cadastro Pessoa Fisica and has a format like 000.000.028-00, For businesses, the number is called a CPNJ Cadastro Nacional de Pessoa Juridica and it has a format like 00.000.486/0001-0.

Shipments to Indonesia require an import license. Shipments to Serbia require a business license for invoices over $200 US. Please make sure that you meet those requirements as we cannot reship or refund orders that are confiscated by customs.
